Licensed Addiction Counselor

Recovery Unlimited KS is hiring an experienced addictions counselor to join our team. We offer a professional working environment dedicated to providing exceptional addiction counseling services.

Our agency has 1 opening for a full time Licensed Substance Abuse Counselor for our adolescents. Must have an LAC, LCAC, LMSW or another applicable license in Kansas.

• $2,000 sign on bonus.

Qualifications Include:

• BS or MS in social work, substance abuse counseling, 60 hours towards an LAC, or a closely related field
• LAC, LCAC, LMSW or other applicable license in Kansas
• Ability to meet drug-free policy and pass security/background check
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word and Outlook
• Experience with SUD assessments
• Competence in clinical documentation & Electronic Health Records (EHR)
• Good communications skills

Duties Include:

• Evaluation/Assessments/Screenings
• Developing treatment and care plans
• Documentation of clinical information into EHR (Electronic Health Record)
• Interaction with legal supervision officers
• Other duties as assigned
